Privacy Policy — New You

New You ("we", "the app") is a personal health and wellness tracking application for iPhone and Android. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the New You mobile apps.

Summary

• Most data you enter is stored locally on your device.
• We do not operate a user account or cloud backup in the current app version.
• Optional health sync uses Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) only after you grant permission.
• The app may fetch public JSON feeds (trainer notes, meal plans, catalogs) from URLs you or your trainer configure.

Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use the app, local storage may include:

• Profile and bio metrics (name, age, weight, goals, notes)
• Workout completion and preferences
• Medication, supplement, and schedule entries you create
• Order and shopping preferences
• Progress photos you choose to save in the app

This data remains on your device unless you share it (for example via email from the Order or Shopping screens).

Apple Health and Health Connect

On iPhone, if you enable Apple Health, the app may read health data types you approve to display them in Bio Metrics. On Android, the same applies via Health Connect (such as weight and steps). We do not sell this data. You can revoke access anytime in Apple Health or Health Connect settings.

Network and third-party services

• Configurable feeds: The app may download JSON from URLs set in Settings (e.g. Firebase-hosted trainer or meal data on this domain).
• Mindset feed: Optional quote API URL (default third-party service) if enabled in Settings.
• Email: Order and shopping features open your email app; we do not send mail on your behalf.

Third-party sites and APIs have their own privacy policies.

Permissions

• Internet — load remote feeds and open web links.
• Notifications — medication and supplement reminders when enabled.
• Camera / Photos — progress photos when you choose to capture or import images.
• Health — Apple Health or Health Connect, only with your explicit consent.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

New You is for personal tracking and education only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Data retention and deletion

Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from your device. Data already shared via email or third-party services is outside our control.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
